Uke is our very own Mr Positivity, out to conquer the world with a smile and his 4 stringed friend. Uke was taught to play by his dad when he was 10, and hasn’t looked back since!
- THE PROFESSOR -
The Prof has a great mind and a heart of gold. Ask him anything you like and he’ll always answer with a smile…but you’d be a braver soul than me to challenge him to a game of Scrabble!
- SWEET ROMEO -
Every band has a romantic, and Sweets is ours through and through. When he’s not busy penning letters to his best girl, he’s charming everyone else with that smile…isn’t it sickening that someone so handsome could also be such a nice guy?
- HABBA HABBA -
Habs is the strong, silent type…except when he’s walloping the living daylights out of the loudest instrument around. He keeps the boys on the straight and narrow, and has also been known to keep snacks under his bowler.
- ABOUT THE BAND -
Uke Ellington and the Banjolele Bandits is made up of the recent stars of ‘Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story’ (30th Anniversary UK Tour), ‘Cilla the Musical’, ‘The Glen Miller Story’, ‘Little Miss Sunshine’, among others.
These boys have performed on stage and screen around the world, from working men's clubs to the London Palladium and everywhere in between! Between them they have played thousands of shows, gigs sessions and functions for clients including the BBC, ITV, Netflix and have amassed well over 10 million views on YouTube.
They always leave an audience feeling on top of the world with their warmth, great humour, superb musicianship and charming, original arrangements of everybody’s favourite tunes.
